Purified Salts exists to remove one variable from high-temperature research: whether the salt in your loop is actually as pure as your data assumes. We produce fluoride and chloride eutectics to research-grade purity, and we build the facilities that let programs purify their own supply on-site.

Melting point charts get you the composition. Getting a clean, reproducible melt at that composition is the actual work — that’s what we sell.

Every lot ships with a certificate of analysis. Every facility we build ships with the full design package. Nothing about the process is a black box to our customers.

Built for MSR, useful beyond it

Molten salt reactor research shapes our purity and handling standards, but the same salts serve thermal storage, electrorefining, and general high-temperature chemistry.

How we work

Small batches, real characterization, full traceability

We purify to order rather than holding large speculative stock, which means every batch is characterized against the certificate we ship with it \u2014 not a generic spec sheet. For fluoride salts in particular, we track oxide and moisture content closely, since both drive corrosion behavior in downstream loop testing.

For customers building their own purification capability, we bring the same standard to facility construction: the design package we hand over is the one we actually build from, and the training we provide covers the failure modes we've seen, not just nominal operation.
